Methadone Maintenance
(Medication Assisted Treatment)About
You can get methadone treatment at all four BNJ locations. They are open Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and on Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
Methadone is a medicine that helps people stop using opioids. It stops the "high" feeling and helps with cravings and feeling sick when they stop.
Intensive Outpatient Therapy
(IOP)About
BNJ’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) helps people with drug or alcohol problems who do not need full-time care. It also supports people facing legal or job issues.
The program includes both group and one-on-one therapy. The program is led by trained addiction counselors and is based on each person’s needs.
BNJ also offers help for families affected by alcohol or drug problems at home. The program helps families set healthy rules and learn how to support recovery.
In Maryland, IOP programs must give at least nine hours of care each week. BNJ provides a full program to support lasting recovery.

About
The Outpatient Program helps people with drug use or mental health needs. It includes group and one-on-one therapy.
This program is for people who don’t need as much help as the IOP program. It gives you tools to stay on track and avoid going back to old habits. The support you get depends on what you need to keep getting better.
