General Information


There is no minimum requirement for eligibility, except being a Marylander. They conduct a triage over the phone, so whatever documentation may be needed can be determined over the phone. If you are determined to be eligible for services, they offer free interpreters for over 168 languages. This resource is for those seeking mental health services. However, people who experience current suicidal ideation, certain chronic psychiatric conditions , and are seeking to obtain mental health evaluation paperwork like formal psych evals. would be referred to other services. They serve Maryland individuals, couples, and families of all ages. If you are a Marylander who is experiencing stress, anxiety, sadness, grief, a life transition, relationship issues, or any other issue that can be addressed through talk therapy, but you are facing difficulties affording counseling, you are welcome to reach out to PBCP. On a case by case basis there may be availability for special services for Military population. For active duty who wish to seek mental health care outside of military bases, they may be able to offer services. Although determination on whether they will utilize the service member existing Tricare plan or pro bono is determined case by case. Similarly, they also may have availability for veterans who are in the VA waiting list for mental health services, on a case by case basis.
