General Information


The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is designed to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household. Read below to find out how you can apply for free or reduced Internet services.

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) for Xfinity Customers

Xfinity is participating in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides eligible households a credit of up to $30/month toward Internet service. Both new and existing customers can apply this credit toward Xfinity Internet services, including Internet Essentials. If you are already receiving Internet services, you can ask your Internet company directly if they participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
If you are not currently receiving Internet services from a company, you can click here to apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). You can also access a paper application in English here and in Spanish here. Once your application is approved, you will be instructed to choose a company that offers ACP discounts and sign up for one of their Internet services. If you apply online, you may receive an immediate approval. If they cannot confirm your eligibility automatically, they will request additional documentation from you and provide information on how you can submit those documents for review.
