Provides innovative, high quality behavioral healthcare ranging from intensive stabilization and detoxification to residential and outpatient treatment.

"Treatment on Demand" Services: most clients will be scheduled for admissions within 24 hours after the first call to Powell. Evaluation is completed at your first appointment and a treatment plan is completed.

Treatment on Demand

About

95% of our clients are scheduled for intake within 24 hours of their requested date.
Provide quick access to food and clothing, links to community resources, and intensive crisis services as needed to rapidly stabilize clients.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program

About

The “LIFE” program (Living Independently for Empowerment) allows you to choose from a number of group discussions and activities each month. Both on-site meetings and off-site trips are included in each month’s offerings.

Topics addressed include but are not limited to: Nutrition, food shopping, and food preparation; Budgeting and money management; Housing resources; Work readiness; Social and interpersonal relationship building.

Dual Recovery Treatment

About

If you need dual recovery treatment services for mental illness and substance abuse, you will see the psychiatrist and enroll in the Dual Recovery program shortly after admission to treatment and stabilization.

Outpatient Services

About

Partial Hospitalization (ASAM 2.5)
Available to clients that need more intensive treatment and medical interventions after admission or after a serious relapse. Services include: Medically monitored withdrawal management services; Intensive case management; Daily individual and group treatment sessions.

Intensive Outpatient Programming (ASAM 2.1)
Lasts 15 - 90 days with access to mental health services and Suboxone medication management. Includes: Group sessions 5 times weekly; Individual sessions with counselors; Individual case management sessions if requested.

Traditional Outpatient Programming (ASAM 1.0)
Lasts as long as the client needs services with access to mental health resources and Suboxone medication management. Includes: 3-5 group sessions each week (typical, but may vary); Individual sessions with counselors; Case management services available if requested.

The Bridge (ASAM 1.0 + subsidized supportive housing)
Designed for clients who have successfully completed treatment, are engaged in work activities, and can pay a discounted rent of $100 per week. Clients can stay until they have completed approximately 12 months of treatment with access to mental health resources and Suboxone medication management. Services include: Housing with access to a semi-private bedroom; Fully furnished; Full kitchen privileges; Cable TV; Evening and weekend outpatient groups to minimize conflict with work schedules; Case management services to support employment, educational, or other recovery and life goals.

Withdrawal Management (Ambulatory)

About

Medical, emotional, and therapeutic support for Alcohol, Benzodiazepine, and Opioid Dependence. Includes group therapy, case management, and peer support.

Residential Services

About

Foundations (ASAM 3.3 or 3.5)
Lasts 30 - 60 days and addresses issues related to poor housing conditions, lack of access to nutritional food, and inadequate treatment for health problems.

Includes: Safe, structured, and supervised housing; Food provided for 3 meals daily; Transportation available for medical or other urgent off-site appointments; Daily group sessions; Individual case management; Suboxone Medication Management; Assessment and engagement with psychiatric services.

Supportive housing with Outpatient Services (ASAM 3.1)
Lasts 3 - 5 months and is for clients that still need a structured environment after the Foundations program. Clients are provided safe and secure housing, case management, and access to food.

Incudes: Housing with scheduled house activities and tasks; Access to food and kitchen; Regularly scheduled therapeutic sessions; Regular attendance at Outpatient Treatment groups; Individual sessions with counselors; Suboxone Medication Management; Access to mental health services.

Ancillary Services

About

Some of the services we provide at no charge include:
1) Crisis Housing for clients who may not qualify for Residential Services and lack secure housing
2) Emergency food supplies for clients who may not qualify for Residential Services
3) Emergency personal supplies and clothing at admission as needed
4) Transportation services to local food pantries, medical appointments
5) A peer to peer coaching team to provide on-going support
6) Participation in community activities support groups, civic events, church and outings to local parks and museums.
