General Information


The ROAR Center at UMB is a “one-stop-shop” in Baltimore City where victims of crime can access services, such as legal, social work, nurse care management, housing and therapy. The ROAR website also has links to other organizations that assist and provide legal services to survivors of domestic violence and immigrants here. They assist people of all ages, races, gender identities, and income levels. Please leave a message and all calls will be returned on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All services will be conducted via phone or video conference.

El centro ROAR en UMB es un servicio multidisciplinario en la ciudad de Baltimore donde víctimas de crímenes pueden acceder a los servicios que incluyen servicios legales, de trabajo social, administración de cuidados de enfermería y terapia. About

Designed to offer access to wraparound support for survivors of crime and their impacted family members. ROAR supports survivors who have experienced all types of crime including: family members of homicide victims, sexual and physical assaults, intimate partner violence, hate and bias crimes, police-perpetrated and retaliation crimes, cyber crimes, robbery, and identity theft and fraud (including wage theft). All of ROAR’s staff members are working remotely and will have access to their email and phones during regular business hours. All face-to-face meetings in offices or in the clients homes will cease while the impact of the pandemic continues to unfold. Client meetings and legal/supportive services will be conducted by phone or video-conference.

ROAR ofrece acceso asistencia integral para los sobrevivientes de diferentes delitos y sus familiares afectados. Todos los miembros del personal del ROAR están trabajando de forma remota y tendrán acceso a sus correos electrónicos y teléfonos durante el horario comercial regular. Todas las reuniones cara a cara en nuestras oficinas o en los hogares de los clientes cesarán mientras el impacto de la pandemia continúa desarrollándose. Eligibility:

They assist people of all ages, races, and gender identities. Annual income eligibility is no more than $70k without dependents, and an additional $5k each per dependent.
