Institutes for Behavior Resources, Inc. (IBR/REACH)

The REACH (Recovery Enhanced by Access to Comprehensive Healthcare) Health Services program, which originated as a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)-funded research project by IBR founder Dr. Joseph V. Brady in the early 1990’s, is a comprehensive, outpatient, substance use recovery program uniquely designed to deliver substance use disorder treatment, including medication-assisted treatment services, to individuals in the community. In response to the opioid epidemic, REACH offers overdose response training and Narcan™ prescriptions to treatment participants and the community. Guided by a patient centered and trauma informed approach to addiction and recovery, REACH realizes the widespread impact of trauma and understands the prevalence of traumatic events in the population we serve. REACH is also committed to offering culturally competent services to all individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.
