This program gives free help to people who need an abortion in Maryland. If you have an appointment, BAF may help you pay for your care. They also offer support like rides, a place to stay, and other help to get to your appointment.
You must have an appointment to get support. If you need help finding a clinic or making an appointment, BAF can give you referrals.
All services are private and free.

BAF can help with more than just money. If you need a ride, a place to stay, a translator, or other help to get to your appointment, they may be able to assist you.

* A safe phone number
* How far along you are in your pregnancy
* Your ZIP code or Maryland county
* The date, time, and clinic for your appointment
* What kind of help you need (like a ride or hotel)
Please contact BAF at least 48 hours before your appointment. They will call or text you back within 48 hours (Monday to Friday). Intake hours are Monday 8 a.m. to Thursday 6 p.m.

If you need help paying for an abortion, you can contact the Baltimore Abortion Fund (BAF). They may be able to help cover some of the cost.
Call the confidential helpline: (443) 297-9893
Leave a message with:
* Your full name
* A safe phone number
* If it is okay to leave you a message
* How far along you are in your pregnancy
* Your appointment date and clinic name (if scheduled)
You can also call (443) 853-8445 during these hours:
* Monday: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
* Tuesday: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
* Thursday: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
To speed things up, include this in your message:

* The total cost and how much help you need
Someone from BAF will call or text you within 1–2 days of your appointment (Monday–Friday).
Maryland Medicaid may also help pay for your abortion.
