The Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) provides resources and programs to address a number of different chronic health conditions. Resources are available for several diseases including diabetes, hypertension, stroke, cancer, child lead poisoning, and asthma. There are also programs available that address smoking cessation. Tobacco & Smoking Cessation
About
The BCHD helps people stop smoking, teaches the community about tobacco, works on projects in schools, and makes sure stores follow the rules about selling tobacco.
You can call 410-396-9932 to get more information about smoking cessation programs in your community.
You can also call 410-361-9765 to find a health center near your home. These health centers can get you enrolled in a cessation program and provide you with free nicotine patches. They also offer other programs so for more information, visit their website here.
