General Information
This resource offers Maternal and Child Health support for families in need. It provides multiple initiatives within the Maternal and Child Health Program focusing on the health of women, babies, and the youth, family planning, reproductive health services, teen pregnancy prevention, young adults, and immunizations.
The Druid Family Planning Clinic, Eastern Family Planning Clinic and the Healthy teens and Young Adults Clinic are all providing patient counseling over the phone. They can also help women apply for the Women Infants and Children (WIC) program over the phone. Also, MCH department houses initiative like Baltimore Infants and Toddlers Program (BITP), B’more for Healthy Babies (BHB) , and Maternal and Infant (M&I) Care Program.

Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative
(TPPI)About
The Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative (TPPI) wants to lower teen births in Baltimore City by making sure that teens and young adults can get:
1) Age-appropriate and research-backed sexual health education and information;
2) Access to good family planning and youth-friendly, current clinical services;
3) Community support so people can make smart sexual health decisions.

B'more for Healthy Babies
(BHB)About
BHB works to lower the top 2–3 causes of infant deaths: babies born too early, babies born too small, and unsafe sleeping. Their goal is to fix the health care system so that every family in Baltimore gets good maternal and baby health services and support. Baltimore Infants and Toddlers Program
(BITP)About
The Baltimore Infants and Toddlers Program (BITP) helps families with babies and toddlers who might have delays in learning or moving, or who have health problems that affect how they grow.
Children from birth to age 2 who may have developmental delays are eligible for screening and assessments to identify early intervention needs in areas such as speech/language, physical, cognitive, and psycho-social development, as well as self-help skills. These services are provided at no cost to the family. (For children ages 3 and above, please contact Child Find at 443-642-3032 for services.)

To enroll in the program, doctors and other health care providers send referrals — or women can contact Health Care Access of Maryland directly. Women who meet high‑risk criteria are referred to the Maternal & Infant Health (M&I) program for enrollment; others are sent to different services. Clinics offering guidance with family planning and reproductive health decisions over the phone:
1. The Eastern Family Planning Clinic is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30am-5pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am-6pm (call 410-396-9401). Spanish speaking staff available.

WALK-IN HOURS
Only the Druid Family Planning Clinic has walk-in hours for patients who are 25 years old and older that are on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 PM
Walk-in hours are offered from both Druid and the Eastern Family Planning Clinic on Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30 PM for patients who are 10 to 24 years old.

Immunization Program
About
The Immunization Program helps people stay healthy by providing vaccines, watching for diseases, and teaching our community about immunizations.
You need an appointment to be seen, which can be made by calling their office at 410-396-4454, Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
* Whenever possible, registration — including collecting vaccination records and insurance card information — will be done ahead of time when the client or parent schedules their appointment.
* Clients and their parents or guardians must wear face coverings at all times.
* Clients and their parents or guardians will be checked for temperature and other symptoms. If a client has a fever or shows other signs of illness, the appointment will be rescheduled.
* Please keep a safe distance* from others.

Please note: we don’t have funding for adult vaccinations in our Immunization Program. However, we do have a limited supply of the adult Measles‑Mumps‑Rubella (MMR) vaccine for people age 19 and up. Please call 410‑396‑4454 to see if it’s available and to make an appointment.
