General Information

Baltimore City Needle Exchange Program (NEP) works to reduce HIV, Hepatitis C, and other infections by providing clean syringes and reducing the circulation of unclean syringes. Clients can receive counseling about drug treatment programs and education regarding HIV, tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases. They provide referrals to resources and treatment programs as well. They are also offering free showers, clothes, toiletries throughout the week. They also offer training for Naloxone and Narcan usage. If you need any of these services, you can visit the NEP mobile van at any of their locations listed below. Free Showers


This location is offering free showers, clothes, underwear, socks, and toiletries throughout the week. You can get this service Mondays through Fridays and every 2nd Saturday of the month from 8am until 1pm.


The location is at 450 N Front Street Baltimore MD, 21202. This is located next to Health Care for the Homeless on Fallsway.

How to Apply:

Walk-in services at any exchange site. No referral needed for needle exchange. Referral from NEP needed for substance use treatment. Se necesita una referencia de NEP para el tratamiento del uso de sustancias.)
