This group helps people in Baltimore City who are facing hunger, homelessness, or poverty.
They may help with energy bills if you've already applied for the Fuel Fund and the Maryland Energy Assistance Program (MEAP)

To learn more about*the Office of Home Energy Program* and how they help low-income Maryland families pay their heating bills, avoid heating emergencies, and make energy costs more affordable, click here.
They sometimes help with rent, but you must meet certain rules and have some income. They do not help people living in public housing.

Head Start & Early Head Start
Head Start and Early Head Start are free programs for low-income families with young children.
• Head Start serves kids ages 6 weeks to 3 years old.
• Early Head Start serves kids ages 6 weeks to 2 years old.
These programs help children get ready for school and support parents with housing, health, and money goals. Services are offered at two locations in Baltimore City.

Camp St. Vincent
Camp St. Vincent is a free summer camp for kids ages 5 to 14 who live in shelters or transitional housing in Baltimore City or County.
Ask your case manager if your child can join.

About
This program helps people who do not have a job or need a better job. There are two programs: Career Connections and Next Course.
Career Connections helps with writing resumes and cover letters, getting ready for interviews, and finding jobs.
Next Course is a 12-week cooking class. People learn kitchen skills and work in a real kitchen. They can earn a ServSafe Certificate and find jobs in food service.
New classes start every month.

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore offers many housing programs for people and families who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes. These include supportive housing, rapid rehousing, and shelter help in both Baltimore City and County.
Programs support young adults, families, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

* Call Baltimore County Social Services at (410) 853-3000 – Option 2 for county services.

Beans & Bread Day Center at 400 S. Bond Street in Baltimore City is open for walk-in housing support:
* Monday and Wednesday. You MUST be there by 8:00 AM because they are a fist come first serve service.

Free meals are served twice a day at Beans & Bread, 400 S. Bond Street.
Breakfast: Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Lunch: Monday–Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
They also provide a food bag every two weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. For questions call 410-732-1892
Some churches also have food pantries with free groceries. To find a food pantry near you, look for a SVDP Conference in your area.

Debby's Devotion
Food Pantry:
They have a food pantry every second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM at the SVDP Ministry of St. Isaac Jogues in Parkville at 9215 Old Harford Rd, Parkville, MD 21234. There, they serve up to 120 people each month. For questions call 410-661-4888.
Emergency Funds:
The Ministry helps families pay for emergencies like utility shutoffs, medicine, and other important expenses. If there isn’t enough money to help you, Debby will connect you to other places that might be able to help.
