BMHA is a community group that provides many helpful programs. These include school-based mental health services, youth tobacco education and prevention, fatherhood initiatives, summer camp, after-school programs, and HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives.

The organization provides referrals for those seeking this service. BMHA also offers a directory of African-American psychiatrists within the area. To connect with a therapist click here and someone will contact you within 24 hours. For more urgent matters, the website also offers other mental health resources such as the national suicide prevention hotline.
