General Information


Provides safe and sober living in a healing environment.

CHHS partners with each resident to help access the resources and referrals needed to have a safe and healthy pregnancy; maintain sobriety and improve your mental and physical health; develop successful parenting skills; and transition to become an independent productive member of your community.

Payments Accepted: Most of our clients' costs are fully covered through government insurance. We do not currently accept private insurance.

*Provide child care Monday-Friday so that women can participate in treatment.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) & Outpatient Programs

About

Provided with information, education and counseling on substance abuse, environmental and emotional triggers, domestic violence, dual diagnosis, co-dependency, relapse prevention and risks associated with your drug or alcohol use.

Chrysalis House offers the following services:
1) 26-week Substance Abuse Group Counseling Sessions
2) Assessments and Referrals
3) Individual Counseling as it relates to substance abuse
4) Relapse Prevention
5) Random Drug Screenings
6) Introduction to support meetings and other self-help options.

Audience:

Women diagnosed with the disease of alcohol and drug dependence AND women with dual diagnoses.

10) Scheduled transportation during business hours

Eligibility:

Participants must be: Pregnant and planning to keep the baby, OR with a child under the age of three (3); 18 years or Older; Have a history and diagnosis of substance use and/or mental health disorder.

Recovery Housing (Community Housing)

About

Provide a safe, substance free, structured and sharing environment in which a woman can realize herself as a worthwhile and capable individual.

Services provided: Housing, Job Readiness, & Transportation.

Eligibility:

Must be at least 18 years of age; Must have recently completed a treatment program and be detoxed; Must be able to live independently with minimal supervision; Must be enrolled in an aftercare program; Attend 12 step meetings regularly; Diagnosed with substance abuse as a primary condition; Enrolled in Access To Recovery program.
