Offer mental health services, substance abuse education, and rehabilitative services for English and Spanish speakers. To request a service click HERE.

Open for virtual services Monday-Thursday (5pm-7pm), Friday (9AM - 5PM), and Saturday (10AM-2PM).

Counseling

About

Therapy services can be delivered in office or at home, helping you to manage depression, anxiety, and other conflicts to improve your life and relationships. We offer face-to-face individual counseling sessions.

Services include: medication management, assessments/evaluations, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy.

Medication Management

About

Medications used to manage mental health issues and substance abuse.

DO NOT schedule appointment if you are seeking ongoing continued benzodiazepine prescriptions, limited to one time prescription if we determine it is necessary.

Fees:

Yes, we accept Maryland Medicaid, Cigna, BCBS, & John Hopkins.

Eligibility:

We do not prescribe benzodiazepines to individuals under the age of 18 years old.

How to Apply:

Before scheduling an appointment, you must provide a copy of medical records including names and dosage of medications (if you have history of prescription medications). Additionally, lab testing will be ordered for all patients including drug screenings (no exceptions).
Adult PRP

About

Provide supportive services with the mental health services you are currently receiving. Provide skill development in: Money Management; Medication Monitoring; Nutrition; Activities of Daily Living Skills; Promotion of health and well being; Housing; Employment; Independent Living; Leisure Activities; Socialization; Community Integration.

Audience:

Serve adults with severe and persistent mental illness who have moderate to severe functional deficits.

Eligibility:

How to Apply:

1) Inform us your intent of submitting referral for PRP services 2) Referral must be completed by mental health professional, found at https://www.firstcccenter.com/prp 3) Submit referral form to us by fax 410 779 9400 or HIPPA compliant email fccc1@hushmail.com 4) You will receive confirmation of receipt of referral within 24 hours. 5) We will be contacted within 24 hours of receipt of referral to schedule a screening assessment.
Substance Use Services (OP/IOP)

About

Provides clients with onsite individual and/or group therapy treatment for approximately one hour, 1-2 days a week. Service includes: Group, individual or family counseling treatment, or both as needed; Alcohol and drug education; Referral for further assessment or to another level of treatment; Education on wellness, recovery and resiliency.

Two levels of treatment provided:
Level 1- Outpatient Program (OP)
Level 2.1- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Youth Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)

About

Provides education and assist with developing skills to succeed at home, school and the community. Skills we focus on developing are: Self-care; Social, peer, and adult interaction; Academic achievement; Anger management; Problem solving; Conflict resolution; Semi-independent living; Recreational (engage in community events).

Once approved, child is will assigned a gender specific worker to start working on their treatment plan goals at least 4x a month.

Audience:

Youths ages 7-17 years old.

Eligibility:

Your child must be referred by a provider of the healing arts ( therapist, psychiatrist, nurse, doctor) AND must be in active mental health treatment. This means the youth must participate in mental health therapy at least 2x a month.

Anger Management (Adults)

About

Offers an interactive anger management group that focuses on building skills in the areas of anger control, anger trigger identification, anger control plan development, stress management techniques, communication and listening techniques.

Two classes offered:
6 hours anger management course: Online class is 6 hours at your own pace, receive certificate of completion.
6 hour weekly anger management class: Every Monday from 5:30-6:30 PM. Must participate in 6 sessions (all online) to receive certificate of completion.

Fees:

6 hour online course: Self pay, $145.99 Six hour weekly virtual class: $50.00 per class, Deposit $50.00 applied to first class. Insurance accepted with additional individual sessions required.

Anger Management (Youth)

About

Helps youth with defining anger, triggers, coping skills, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Group meets every other Thursday at 6pm.

About
