General Information
Kolmac helps people who are dealing with drug use, alcohol use, or mental health problems. You can join programs online from home or go to a nearby location.
Even though the Baltimore office is closed, you can still get help if you live in Baltimore. The online program lets you talk to doctors and counselors from your computer or phone.
Ways to pay: Military insurance (TRICARE), private insurance, or your own money.

Detox
About
This program helps you safely detox at home from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, kratom, and cannabis. You will get medicine to help with withdrawal and support from doctors and nurses.
Medical staff are available 24 hours a day. Most people finish detox in 2 to 5 days, depending on the substance.
Outpatient Treatment Program (OTP)
About
This program gives you one-on-one therapy, help with medications, and support from a psychiatrist if needed.
You will start with two therapy sessions each week with your own therapist. You will also meet once a week with medical staff to check your medicine and get prescriptions if needed.
Eligibility:
This program is for people who have had problems with drugs or alcohol. It is for those with mild or moderate use, or those who have stopped using for at least 90 days.Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
About
Kolmac offers strong support for people dealing with addiction. The program includes detox, rehab, and continuing care.
Detox: You can stay at Kolmac for up to 10 hours a day while your body clears the drugs or alcohol. Most people do not need to go to the hospital, but help is available if needed.
Rehabilitation: You start with daily 3-hour group sessions to learn and talk about recovery. You also get one-on-one help.
Continuing care: After rehab, you can join weekly 2-hour group sessions to help you stay strong in recovery. This is for Kolmac patients or people who finished treatment somewhere else.
This program helps you stay safe, learn new skills, and build a better life.
Telehealth Evaluation
About
To get started, you will talk to a staff member on the phone for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. You will talk about how drugs or alcohol have affected your life and learn about your treatment options.
You can call for an intake Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
If you are already in the program, you can reach a clinician any time, day or night.
The intake is quick and easy. You can usually start telehealth treatment within 24 hours.
