General Information
Light of Truth Center gives women a safe and supportive place to live while they recover from addiction. Women live together like a family and support each other through the program’s three steps: recovery, transition, and restoration.
The program also teaches:
* Spiritual healing
* Hygiene and self-care
* Parenting skills
* How to manage money
* Counseling and emotional support
* Job skills, like interviewing and dressing for success
Payments Accepted: Medicaid and some other insurance

This program helps people take tests they need to get a certificate and keep learning.
Supportive Housing
About
The Light of Truth Center gives women in recovery a safe, clean, and affordable place to live. Each woman has her own room and lives in a supportive community with others in recovery.
A Peer Recovery Housing Specialist runs the program and helps women stay on track. This home is for women who are serious about staying drug- and alcohol-free and want to keep growing in a healthy way.
To stay in the program, you must:
* Be at least 21 years old
* Have completed a recovery program
* Be drug- and alcohol-free for 6 to 9 months
* Be able to move around on your own
* Be able to take part in group meetings
* Attend a group meeting on Friday nights
* Turn in a form each week showing you are still getting support, like going to 12-step meetings or peer support
Women using medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) are welcome. Peer support services are also provided.
This program gives you the chance to live with other women in recovery, feel supported, and build a better life.

Yes, there is a fee. Medicaid and some other insurance plans are accepted.Audience:

To apply for housing: 1. Fill out the referral form for the client 2. Send biopsychosocial and discharge information 3. Send all medical records 4. Email all paperwork to intake@lightoftruthcenter.org or fax to 866-910-5074 5. Set up a phone interview and tour 6. After the interview and tour, you will hear back within 48 hours 7. If accepted, you will get your move-in date, location, and next steps.DUI/DWI program
About
This program teaches about the dangers of alcohol and drug use. It is made for people who need to take classes because of a DUI or DWI.
The classes meet the rules set by the courts, probation, schools, insurance companies, the Maryland MVA, and employers. Some people may need to take this program after a first DUI/DWI or as part of their probation.
