General Information
Community members may apply for housing and energy assistance online at myDHR or call 410-396-6406 for more information.
Make sure to first complete registration to set up a myMDThink account.
The account is free and all information entered into your account is kept secure and confidential.
Once you make your account, you can begin applying for services.
Please note that you must have an email address to create a myMDThink account.
City residents who do not have Internet access may request a copy of the paper application be sent to them by email, fax or US mail by calling 1-800-332-6347, Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Energy Assistance
About
Community members may apply for energy assistance online at myDHR or call 410-396-6406 for more information. All Office of Home Eligibility Programs (OHEP) are income-based and you do not need a turn off notice to qualify for assistance. Ways of Applying:
1. Apply online here
2. Print out the following application or request a paper application by calling 1-800-332-6347. Submit the application at a Baltimore Community Action Partnership center. Find location of offices here
3. Apply by phone by calling 1-800-332-6347. You will need to email or mail your documents to the local office after your information has been taken.
4.Apply in person at your Local Energy Assistance Office. Call the office to schedule an appointment.
5. Home visits can also be arranged for senior citizens or other persons with special medical needs.
Eligibility:
Energy Assistance is a year-round program. You can apply at any time during the year, but you can only receive benefits once each year and must reapply each fiscal year (July-June).
