MPAC helps people in recovery and their families through support, training, and education. They teach peers how to help others and work to make recovery programs better and more fair. Advocacy & Leadership Program
About
This program teaches people how to learn, speak up, and lead in recovery. It is for anyone in recovery, their families, friends, and people who want to help. It also trains Peer Recovery Coaches and gives classes approved by the state of Maryland.

Peer to Peer Support Group
About
Peer-to-Peer Support Groups are made for people who work in peer support. These groups give you a safe and private place to talk. You can share your experiences, support each other, and learn ways to take care of your own health.

3C Recovery Support Training
About
Training
Light of Truth Center runs the 3C Recovery Support Training Institute.
This training center focuses on teaching people how to support others in recovery. 3C is approved by the Maryland board that certifies addiction and behavioral health workers.

Service Categories
Overdose Response
About
We are an authorized provider for the Maryland Center of Harm Reduction Services Overdose Response Program. We provide training on how to respond in event of a medical overdose emergency.
Attendees of the training will receive information and resources in reference to: 1) Recognize the warning, symptoms and signs of opioid overdose 2) Training on responding to an opioid overdose 3) The proper use and administration of naloxone 4) Proper rescue breathing technique 5) The importance of contacting emergency medical services 6) The care of an individual after the administration of naloxone 7) Information in reference to the Good Samaritan Law.
