General Information
Loyola University Maryland has a plan to keep students safe from opioid and heroin overdoses.
* All new full-time students must take a short class or do an online training to learn about the dangers of opioid and heroin use.
* Part-time students will get links to online tools to learn more about drug safety.
* The school keeps special medicine on campus that can stop an overdose. Staff and public safety officers are trained to use it in an emergency.
* If the medicine is used, the school writes a report about what happened.
