Out for Justice, Inc. (OFJ) is an organization made up of people who have been affected by the criminal legal system, working to change policies and practices that make it hard to successfully rejoin society.
They have four main programs:
1) Voter Registration & Education: Helps more people learn about voting and take part in elections, especially those who are often left out, like people affected by the legal system.
2) Legislative Advocacy & Training: Teaching people about important issues to help create, change, or improve laws.
3) Bail & Legal Facilitations: Stopping the use of jail before trial when it’s not needed to prepare for legal court case. Click here to request assisstance.
