General Information
PLAN’s Learning Center gives children and teens in the Pen Lucy area a safe place to learn, grow, and get support. The center offers one-on-one tutoring in math and reading for students in grades 1 through 8. Students meet each week with a tutor who helps with schoolwork and life skills.
PLAN also runs summer and high school programs. The summer program includes reading, art, and faith-based activities. High school students can join a group to work on goals, learn life skills, and get ready for college or jobs.
All programs focus on helping students do well in school and in life.

The Learning Center
About
The Learning Center helps students in 1st through 8th grade with math or reading. Each student is paired with a tutor who meets with them once a week. The tutor helps with schoolwork and gives support for everyday life.
The program follows school lessons and uses learning software to help students do better in class. Many students improve by one grade level in reading or math after a year in the program.

Summer @ Faith
About
Summer@Faith is an evening program for kids and teens in Pen Lucy and nearby areas. It runs three nights a week during the summer.
Students take part in fun activities like reading, art, music, and learning about God.
The reading club pairs each child with a reading buddy to help build reading skills and enjoy books.
On another night, students choose an art like music, drawing, dance, or photography and work toward a final show.
Bible Camp is also offered for younger children to learn Bible stories through games and fun activities.

About
Launchpad is a program for high school students who finished the Learning Center.
It gives students a safe and supportive place to work on goals and plan for the future.
Students learn skills like how to study, manage time, handle money, write for school or work, and explore jobs they may want one day.
