Outpatient Detoxification
About
Medically-supervised detoxification from opiates, alcohol, benzodiazepines, and barbiturates in the community, not in an inpatient facility. While participating in outpatient detoxification, you are seen daily by the medical staff and engage in intensive outpatient treatment.
Suboxone is available to help reduce severe withdrawal symptoms from opiates like heroin.
Outpatient Program (OP)
About
Uses group therapy along with individual and family counseling to treat substance use. Participants must also attend 12-step meetings to build a strong support system for staying sober.
Recovery Aftercare
About
Provides weekly support groups to help people stay in recovery. These groups work alongside Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings.
Drugs and Alcohol Education Program
About
12-week and 26-week educational classes that meet the requirements of the Maryland Court System.
