Humble Beginnings is a safe, drug-free home for adult men who want help with alcohol or drug problems.

They offer both short- and long-term housing with support from staff 24/7. You can get counseling, life skills training, and help connecting to community resources.

To join, you must:
Be a man age 18 or older
Have or be eligible for Maryland Medicaid
Meet care level requirements

This program is great for men coming from rehab, unsafe housing, or on parole. You can stay for 6 to 11 months while getting the care you need to recover.
