About
BCRI offers short-term housing for people in crisis. Most people stay for about 7 to 10 days.
Doctors, nurses, and counselors are there all day and night to give medicine, support, and care.
Case managers help you find doctors, mental health care, and other services in the community.
You can enter the program by asking for help or through the Mobile Crisis Team.
Call the hotline and ask about getting a place to stay.
They will ask you a few questions, like:
* Your name
* Date of birth
* Race or ethnicity
* If you are homeless
* Last four numbers of your Social Security
* If you have insurance (they cannot help people with private insurance)
* Basic medical and mental health history
* Legal history (they cannot help registered sex offenders)
After that, they will begin a referral. Someone will call you within 24 hours to follow up.
Eligibility:
You cannot use this service if you have private health insurance or if you are a registered sex offender.Languages
